June 2010

My dear students and friends,
Congratulations on your Spring achievements: mastering new choreography, performing for the dance community in the area from Salem, OR to Olympia, WA, winning USA Dance National Champion's titles, and helping to raise $75,000 for Art and Dance in Portland Public Schools. Great job!

Summer promises to bring three good local competitions and a two-week training CAMP. There will be no group classes, except the Wednesday Youth classes in June. The private lesson schedule consists of MTWTF 11:00AM - 5:00 PM. A 55-minute lesson costs $80. Spots are filling up fast.

I am looking forward to our great summer together.

Sincerely Yours,
Anya

"Dancers are an admirable bunch of people. The way they work. The stress is extraordinary. It's a difficult career. I think it's hellish; the fact that they are over the hill as they're emotionally maturing. That calls for a terrific strength of character."
~Lady D. MacMillan
